MLB 2K7 money

Hey all. I've been playing MLB 2K7 for awhile now...my favorite team is the Yankees, so I've been playing as them. I've been trying to keep the Roster up to date, so, since they did in real life, I wish to sign Roger Clemens from free agency. Problem is, I only have 14 mil in the bank, and I need about 5 mil more. I've made about 60 mil so far on my season (30ish games). Can I make money faster? Or do I have to wait until I make over 200 mil on the season to pay for the expenses before I can put money in the bank to afford Clemens?I haven't really spend much on anything else other than a few inside edge reports, but not many of them...am I missing something here? Can someone explain this to me better?
