I hated graw myself, so I haven't played GRAW2. I can, however, say that Lost Planet has been my favorite game on teh 360. SP campaign only lasts about 8-12 hours, but the multiplayer has kept me busy for quite some time. IMO it's the best looking 360 game, too. IMO.

what i think is gonna happen in halo 3, is that the vehicles will become close to useless because there is so much to stop them in halo 3 then there was in halo 2. In halo 2 you only had rockets and maybe one to two other effective weapons against vehicles + gernades, but in halo 3 there are a lot more things to kill vehicles: spartan laser, rockets, brute shot, trip mine, portable turrets, portable ''rocket'' launcher, and a new gernade. I'm guessing that people will probably stay on foot most of game to try and not get roasted by their opponents.

I think im heading in this direction....over the past few years im overhyped games for myself, ruining them...
halo 3 takes it easily. while there may be little improvement (if any) over halo 2 at the moment Halo 3 actually has a story line and will support over 8 people online

If you want an example the WoW beta was pretty much the finished product but they cleaned it up a bit and got to know some glitches and the whatnots before the release. Bungie will not re-code the entire game, it%26#39;s pretty much all done, just have to maybe clean up the graphics a bit and clean up the bugs.

Ultimate Alliance purchase
I was just wondering if Marvel U.A. was any good. I saw the review and several gameplay movies but I'm just not sure. I want something different than the average shooter. I am a big fan of Baldurs Gate for Xbox and Gauntlet but I can't tell if this resembles that style of gameplay or not. Also, I heard something about a special edition coming out with the new chars. Halo 3 Campaign Story thoughts & the ...
With all the fuss about the multiplayer in Halo 3, people seemed to have forgotten about the single player (which I believe is just as important as the multiplayer). So I thought i'd make a topic about it. Now I dont have much to say so Im hoping others know something or have theories about Halo 3. Now obviously in the first trailer back in 06, It shows Chief is walking through what seems to be a destroyed New Mombasa as the convenant has founda forerunner weapon or w/e its called just nearby. It is possible that the entire game will take place on earth. It may also be the place that the prophets had spoken of back in Halo 2. So yeah right now thats all I have. Anyone feel free to say to say anything about Halo 3 but try to keep it about campaign if possible. buy make up

k pretty much finished the game but when i downloaded the halo 3 beta i tried to play my single player game and its not there i just start the game from scratch? which was weird i thought. iv also been playin it in co-op and when i load that all my abilities r there i got no idea whats goin on. anyone got any ideas??

I got my 360 replaced and I couldn%26#39;t access the Oblivion DLC that was still on my HDD. It was tied to my old 360%26#39;s ID and my online account so I could only play online. DLC, like XBLA games, can be redownloaded to the new Xbox 360 free of charge. but the problem is that the game is tied to your gamertag, so when you are offline with your 360, your XBLA games that you downloaded to your new X360 will be unplayable. this can be fixed by just calling MS and getting your points back.Replaced Xbox's and accessing d/l conten ...

This new Splinter Cell should prove to be very interesting. They're dropping a lot of what we know about the Splinter Cell games and creating a new experience. Sam Fisher is now a hunted fugitive and you have to use everything around you to survive. Think the Bourne Identity/Supremacy. Blending with crowds, slamming doors into faces, breaking off table legs to beat someone down. This game sounds fresh.

i bought the intec cooling station(the one with the green lights) but there hasen't been a change in the heat that my 360 blows out, when i touch the back of my 360 after maybe 20 mins its still really hot. does anyone now if its actually making a difference inside the 360 or is it just a waste of money?cooling station.

ok well i only play for multiplayer online, i mostly like team deathmatch or team battle. GRAW 2 is by far the most customizable multiplayer game of all live games. it comes with something like 20 odd maps straight up counting day/night variations (night plays different to day). add the throwback pack and ur around 30 maps.
The amount of game types that are set by default and then the ability to customize those even further. you cant go wrong with graw 2 online.
As said above, it is 3rd person shooter, but a damn good one!

Getting the full 1000 achievment points in NBA 2K6 after just one game. I felt so cheap. I think it gave me the 20 rebounds achievment when I only had 18.

the gameplay is pretty much exactly the same, except that X is used for the bubble shield, and you reload with the RS button. graphics are crisp and pleasing to the eyes, but not a dramatic step up from halo 2Was anyone in the Halo 3 beta

I haven%26#39;t seen this idea float around yet, and if it has I%26#39;m sorry, but I have a feeling one main purpose for the save films feature at the end of Halo 3 games is so they can catch cheaters/modders/etc much easier. I mean think about it, if there is a option to send your videos to Bungie where they can watch it, see the cheater, and then ban them, don%26#39;t you think that cheating would drastically drop?Sure there will be those people with the 48 hour Live accounts, but how many people do you think will be modding/cheating/etc on matchmaking when they can be so easily caught on camera %26#39;n exposed?Sure they say it%26#39;s for people to watch the game after and look at people%26#39;s strategies %26#39;n just to have fun with, but if Bungie were to use this as a anti-cheating device, it could really be effective.Just a thought, let me know whatchas think :)Bungie's Secret Intentions....

Another thing that may help is that people definately won%26#39;t be cheating with their main account knowing they can easily lose all their achievements and their friends list by cheating just once. personaly i wouldnt use or buy it unless your going to put your 3t0 in an enclosed area. ppl that have it already have been luckey (IMO). its not a product that has been okayed with ms (i could be wrong) i also heard that ms wont cover the warrenty if you have one. my cousin's 360 quit bc of the 1st modle of the intercooler and he had to pay 150 to send it in. also i herd that it makes the fans in the 360 spin faster and that reduces the life of them... i have had my 360 since the 8th of augest and i havnt had problems with it overheating just keep it well vented and you'll be fine

If you lay it on its side traditional style, I would say get a laptop cooler and that will help it a lot. With the CPU being right on top of it.

[/QUOTE] the green light on the powerbrick flickers red when he used it. and he has goten the 3 red lights twice. and when he took it off every ting was fine. but he bought the intercooler bc he had it in an enclosed area. whith the intercooler he had more trouble then with out. he is on his 2nd 360 and he doesnt have the intercooler on and havnt had any problems.

From what I have read, it is glitched in a way. Not many people have this achievement since it seems the there is only 1 or 2 ways to do it and they are both not easy. I know if you obviously finish a match 3v3 or 4v4 it's counted towards your 10000, but some people say they don't get the achievement at 10000 kills at get it at like say 10700 kills. So are all kills on the leaderboards counted towards the achievement? Are there some no projected on the leaderboard that count and when are kills counted on the leaderboard where it doesn't count towards the seriously achievementWhich kills count in gears and which don ...

The weapons are very generic, meaning that you have your standard sub machine guns and rifles etc. but the alien equivalents are nearly the same except for shooting blue laser things and that it is hard to take pride in a specific weapon like one would with a torque bow or somethingAlso, there is no means of evasion, like with Gears of War, you have the roll and run and cover, whereas in the Halo 3 Beta you can jump in the air for a couple of seconds but pretty much if someone sees you, you have to move around and fight your best.Now Im still gonna buy Halo 3 when it comes out, but what really worries me is no means of evasion? Evading in Halo is actually simpler than gears. All you have to do is jump around while moving unpredtictably and you're fine. Gears is a little harder because it's difficult to roll around in cramped places whithout accidentally sticking to an object (I hate it when that happens).

After playing the demo with the controller and the MS wheel, hands down you'll get a better experience with the wheel. If your a big racer on the 360 and PC (it is compatible with the game adapter), then go ahead and buy it if you have the cash. I play at my PC monitor on a big desk, so I'm able to mount the wheel to my desk. I do not suggest placing the wheel on your lap (too uncomfortable), so the cheapest thing you can do is get one of those foldable TV dinner tables and mount your wheel there. If you have the money, i'd say go for it... just don't wait for a realistic experience. If you have driven before or if you regularly drive, the wheel just feels wrong and makes the game more unconfortable... that's why I stayed with the controller.
thats because you don't drive any of the cars in forza....they are not stock vehicles and the ones that are are just too crazy. Especially when your driving fast its not the same as you driving your 92 civic across town to the store. not the same driving. It's very realistic i would say.

After playing the demo with the controller and the MS wheel, hands down you'll get a better experience with the wheel. If your a big racer on the 360 and PC (it is compatible with the game adapter), then go ahead and buy it if you have the cash. I play at my PC monitor on a big desk, so I'm able to mount the wheel to my desk. I do not suggest placing the wheel on your lap (too uncomfortable), so the cheapest thing you can do is get one of those foldable TV dinner tables and mount your wheel there. If you want to go fancy, build or buy your own racing cockpit.Will Forza 2 be worth buying a Steering ...
If you have the money, i'd say go for it... just don't wait for a realistic experience. If you have driven before or if you regularly drive, the wheel just feels wrong and makes the game more unconfortable... that's why I stayed with the controller.
thats because you don't drive any of the cars in forza....they are not stock vehicles and the ones that are are just too crazy. Especially when your driving fast its not the same as you driving your 92 civic across town to the store. not the same driving. It's very realistic i would say.

Reasons being..Xbox 360 Elite Console - $479If you buy the Premium...Xbox 360 Console - $399Than later want the 120Gig HD...199.99$$.... The Elite gives you HDMI and the 120 Gig Hd... Well, the only problem with sitting with the premium for now, is if you run out of HDD space, you%26#39;re going to spend another $180 to get that bigger drive. So now it%26#39;s almost $600 you dropped, instead of $480. Of course, it%26#39;s up to you if you need that kind of space, but you do run out very quick if you download a lot of things. Plus, if you want to rent movies and stuff from the Marketplace, that takes up a bunch of space as well, so......it depends on if you get Live and how much you use it. Well, if you traded in your PS2, you might get a few bucks towards it, but since PS2%26#39;s are a dime a dozen, and really cheap anyway, they might not give you that much towards it.On a personal note, I never thought I%26#39;d need more space than the Premium offered, but after I got into the marketplace, demos, videos, I found that I ran out really fast.

Reasons being..Xbox 360 Elite Console - $479If you buy the Premium...Xbox 360 Console - $399Than later want the 120Gig HD...199.99$$.... The Elite gives you HDMI and the 120 Gig Hd... Well, the only problem with sitting with the premium for now, is if you run out of HDD space, you%26#39;re going to spend another $180 to get that bigger drive. So now it%26#39;s almost $600 you dropped, instead of $480. Of course, it%26#39;s up to you if you need that kind of space, but you do run out very quick if you download a lot of things. Plus, if you want to rent movies and stuff from the Marketplace, that takes up a bunch of space as well, so......it depends on if you get Live and how much you use it. Well, if you traded in your PS2, you might get a few bucks towards it, but since PS2%26#39;s are a dime a dozen, and really cheap anyway, they might not give you that much towards it.On a personal note, I never thought I%26#39;d need more space than the Premium offered, but after I got into the marketplace, demos, videos, I found that I ran out really fast.

I checked Best buy, Future shop, EB Games, and Blockbuster and they all didn't have it! I got mixed explnations but one was that it had a recall, another was it was rare, another was that it isn't being made anymore, and another was that the controlers were defective. So far I've only tried WMV and WMV HD, I tried an ipod MP4 but it said couldn't play. It's a noob question so sue me. What video formats do 360 play back?

Epitiah map name error...what its real n ...
A couple weeks ago a video showing a presumably young African american man playing and commenting on a map he called epitiah.....since this is not actually and word i have my doubts aout this being the name....of course it could be the name of a ship or some alien installation but what is more likely is it is named EPITAPH...and epitaph is te inscription on a gravestone and that seems to fit nicely with bungie styleEpitiah map name error...what its real n ...

Hype-ad?? I'll tell you that I have played a ton of multiplayer on many differen't games and I would gladly play this beta over some finished games. Bungie designs everything down to the menus to be so user friendly. Every single Xbox Live game needs to copy what Bungie is doing. Of course the game is just plain fun!

Xbox 360 is worthless (in a way)
This is one of the worst consoles with so many bugs it aint even funny. Sure my xbox freezes from time to time but, the point is seems like Xbox 360 was a beta released a little early to beat Sony to the market. My best bet would be to buy a PS3 which is 600 dollars but, doesnt have as much issues like overheating and freezing which me, my friends, and 100,000's of others have had. The only thing that stops most of us from buying the PS3 is that:a.) overpriced a tad to bitb.) most importantly the games, i got to admit 360 has the best games in the market on its side right now and all the games on PS3 are already on the 360. (People think 360 has won the console war but, i dont think so. It seems Sony is coming back little by little by getting exclusive titles and hopefully it will do a price drop.)I remember when the PS2 and XBOX were competing against one another and gamecube was nowhere near to be found.
